Come down to Skid Row and feed your imagination, fertilize your fantasies and witness the tragic story of Seymour and his mysterious, murderous plant in Ballarat Grammar’s latest musical comedy ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. The R&B carnivorous plant will have you tapping your feet as you watch it sing for its supper.  Skip on down to the Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts to find out where on earth (or not) Seymour’s plant comes from.

Dubbed ‘high school musical African style’, St Johns College Zimbabwe music group will certain bring joy and smiles to all.

 They will be performing Jazz, Marimba and A-Capella.

The literate students from multicultural backgrounds have been conquering African music awards not just in their home country but even as far as Scotland where they have won

 Pipe band Championships.

The 2015 Eisteddfod organized by the Zimbabwe National Institute of Allied Arts saw St Johns obtain honors in Pipe Band, Drum Core, Jazz and choir. Additional awards received at the this year’s Eisteddfods were Best Gospel Choir, best African contemporary, best traditional Choir and best Jazz band.

Having gained honors for the previous 5 years the marimba group missed out in 2015 but will be out to prove that they are pure quality during their Regional Victoria tour.

Melbourne City Ballet present Artistic Director Michael Pappalardo’s reimagining of Bizet’s classic opera ‘Carmen’ for a stunning evening of ballet and opera. With new choreography, spectacular costumes, and soul evoking music that will keep you on your toes, ‘Carmen’ is Melbourne City Ballet’s most well-known work and simply one that cannot be missed! Featuring Principal Artist Iona Marques in the title role, ‘Carmen’ tells the story of gypsy girl, Carmen, who falls for police officer Don Jose, and whose lies and jealously ultimately lead to her demise.

One of Australia's most popular tenors, and a favourite son of Ballarat, David Hobson, will join with the Victoria Welsh Male Choir to perform a selection of Celtic and other beautiful songs. Under the leadership of its award-winning Musical Director, Faleiry Koczkar OAM, the Choir sings the distinctive spine-tingling, four-part harmony of the traditional Welsh male choir. David and the choir have performed a number of times together, and have become renowned not only for the quality of their singing, but also for the relaxed, informal style, and good humour of their concerts.
